It blocks light very well, including the crevices between the eye and nose, but I didn't like sleeping with it because if I turn my face to the side, the mask becomes uncomfortable due to being thicker in the eye area. But it fulfills its role.
The eye cups are velcro and completely removable and they attach back onto the main band anywhere so you can dial in the perfect fit. This is definitely the most comfortable and most light blocking i've ever had with an eye mask.
The product is as described and darkens well. I recommend the seller. It was also delivered very quickly.
